So what does cleaner food production mean?

To us, this means we create our delicious products using no or very little additives, and only additives that are naturally derived (no nasty chemicals or synthetics = badditives).

It’s a fact that some convenience products require help to maintain a healthy and stable shelf life, but by remaining true to our core value that food should be FOOD, we focus on ways of achieving the necessary stability in the most natural way possible. We keep up with the latest developments so our list will evolve, but here are some examples to help:

What we DON'T add:

  • Potassium Sorbate
  • Sodium Benzoate
  • Sulphur Dioxide
  • Artificial sweeteners
  • Artificial colours
  • Artificial Fillers

What we MAY add (only when necessary):

  • Xanthan Gum and Starch (when texture or stability is required)
  • Yeast extracts (when a meaty/savoury note is needed)
  • Chlorophyll and Beta Carotene (natural food colour enhancers)
  • Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C)
  • Nisin (a natural bacteria based preservative used only in products that can spoil quickly)

Do you use Free Range Eggs?

Yes! Every time!

All of our items that contain egg in the recipe will always be made with Free Range Eggs as part of our commitment to bringing you better quality products.

Are your products Gluten free?

Many of them indeed are!

As a benefit of cleaner production, most of our products are Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Refined Sugar Free and Vegan. Please refer to the handy dietary symbols on our packaging and the detailed specification sheets that can be found linked to each product on our Food Service page.

Where can we purchase your Food Service products?

Our brands are available through a variety of distributors. If you are interested in any specific products, please contact us directly for further information.

How long do your products last?

You'd be surprised! 

Through careful development and by using strict manufacturing processes, we are able to achieve a minimum of 6 months on the vast majority of our food service products, some as long as 12 months, a few even longer! The exception to this is a couple of select specialised products that have a high fresh herb content (eg basil pesto) or high protein content (eg hummus) that will have shorter expiry dates. However, our team of Food Technologists are constantly testing and implementing new innovations in natural food stabilisers and these dates will extend as and when we are able to safely do so.
